Stone T. Hendrickson

Associate

Stone Hendrickson focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, white collar, and criminal defense.

Prior to joining Margulis Gelfand, Stone served as a federal law clerk for two federal judges: the Hon. David W. Dugan in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and the Hon. Gray M. Borden in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Stone’s experience as a law clerk for both a federal magistrate judge and a federal district judge provides him rare insights into the nuts and bolts of complex litigation—an invaluable asset for clients.

Stone graduated with high honors from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and with honors from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Stone placed second in the best oralist category at the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition and served as Articles Editor and Managing Board Member of the Alabama Law Review. Prior to joining Margulis Gelfand, Stone gained experience as an intern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama where he had the opportunity to observe firsthand the inner workings of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Stone has worked hard his entire life—whether mowing lawns with his brothers in high school, working at a local factory in the summer to help pay his way through college, or spending long nights and weekends studying for law school exams. But when he has a break, Stone enjoys exploring St. Louis with his wife, perfecting his deep dish pizza recipe, and enjoying a Cardinals game.
